HOW I HELP
Strategic thinking. Practical implementation. Focused on growth.
You don’t need more marketing for the sake of more marketing. You need to know what’s going to make the biggest difference to your business — and then make it happen.
Hello Friday helps established service businesses identify what’s getting in the way of growth, focus on the areas that matter most and turn the strategy into action.
We work together over 90 days, centred around a clear commercial objective. Not a generic marketing package. Not a strategy document that gets handed over and forgotten.
WHERE WE START
It starts with what you’re trying to achieve.
Not with a tactic, and not with a list of marketing activity.
The first question is what you’re trying to achieve, and what’s currently stopping you.
Perhaps you need more of the right enquiries. Maybe you’re generating opportunities but not converting enough of them. You could be trying to grow a particular service, enter a new market or create a more predictable route to new customers.
Or perhaps there’s plenty of marketing activity happening already, but it’s fragmented and you’re not sure what’s actually contributing to growth.
Once we’re clear on the objective, we can work backwards and determine what needs to change.
THE 90 DAYS
90 days. One clear focus.
Diagnose
Understand where you are, where you want to go and what’s getting in the way.
Prioritise
Focus the 90 days on the things most likely to make a commercial difference.
Build
Turn the strategy into practical marketing, assets, processes and systems.
Embed
Leave your business with something it understands, owns and can keep using.
Every engagement is different because every growth problem is different. The structure gives us focus; the diagnosis determines the work.
HOW IT RUNS
What the 90 days actually look like.
We usually meet fortnightly throughout the engagement — enough to keep decisions moving and momentum up, without turning it into another standing meeting nobody wants.
In those sessions we make decisions, review what’s working and agree the next priorities. Between them, I’m building, you know what I’m working on, and we keep track of the actions that sit with you and your team.
You’ll always know three things: what we’re working on, why it matters to the objective, and what’s expected of you before we next speak.
The work happens during the 90 days, not in a document at the end of them.
THE WORK
So what could we actually work on?
Growth problems rarely sit neatly inside one marketing discipline.
If you aren’t generating enough opportunities, we may need to look at your audience, positioning, message or how you’re reaching people.
If people are finding you but aren’t taking the next step, the problem could be the website, offer, customer journey or lead capture.
And if enquiries are already coming in but aren’t converting, the biggest opportunity may be in your follow-up, sales process, CRM or nurture.
We won’t automatically do all of it. We’ll work on the parts that matter to the objective we’ve agreed.
IMPLEMENTATION
We don’t just make the plan. We build what you need to use it.
Once we know what needs to change, I work alongside you to make it happen. That could mean creating marketing assets, developing positioning together, building a campaign, mapping a customer journey, putting follow-up in place, establishing useful KPIs or creating a system that makes the process easier to run.
Some things I’ll lead. Some we’ll create together. And there will be things you or your team need to own too.
The aim isn’t better marketing ideas. It’s ideas your business can actually use.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology when it helps. Not because it’s fashionable.
A CRM might help you stop leads falling through the cracks. Automation could make follow-up more consistent. Practical use of AI might help your team create or execute something more effectively.
When technology makes the customer journey or marketing system work better, we bring it into the solution. When it doesn’t, we don’t.
Technology is there to support the strategy, not become the strategy.
RESULTS
“I didn’t expect Allison to build the delivery side too. My VA ran the programme, which meant it didn’t all come back to me every time we signed someone new.”
Debbie Does Property
THE CHALLENGE
An established audience and an idea for a coaching offer, but no structured proposition and no route from audience to paying client. Anything built also had to be deliverable without overwhelming the owner.
THE WORK
Structured the offer, then built the whole journey: webinar strategy and presentation, the route from attendee to sales conversation, the sales process and follow-up. Then built the delivery system in ClickUp and trained the VA to run it.
THE OUTCOME
12 coaching clients, and a proposition, conversion process and delivery model the business can use again without depending on the owner or on me.
WHAT’S NEXT
Building the wider system: CRM and audience segmentation in GoHighLevel, a second product, and a funnel running from the free monthly deal clinic through to the paid product and into the wider client offer.
AFTERWARDS
And when the 90 days are over?
The aim isn’t to create dependency. It’s to leave your business stronger than it was when we started.
What you keep depends on what we’ve worked on, but the strategy, assets, systems and ways of working we create are designed to stay in the business. Where it’s useful, that also means giving your team the training, templates, frameworks or SOPs they need to keep using what we’ve built.
You don’t just leave with a plan. You leave with something you can carry on using.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
Is this the kind of help you need?
The 90-day growth engagement is built for established service businesses with something proven to sell and a meaningful growth opportunity or problem to solve.
It’s collaborative, so I’ll need you in it. The best results come from combining my outside perspective with your knowledge of your business, with both sides keeping things moving.
You can expect me to ask a lot of questions, challenge things that don’t add up, and keep coming back to whether what we’re doing is moving the business towards the outcome we agreed. I won’t create activity just so we can say we’ve been busy.
If you need somebody to execute a predetermined list of marketing tasks, there are plenty of good specialists who can do that.
But if you need someone to work out what you need to do to grow and help you do something about it, we should talk.
Know you want to grow, but not sure what needs fixing first?
You don’t need to diagnose the problem before you contact me.
That’s my job.
Tell me a little about your business, where you want to get to and what seems to be getting in the way. If it looks like I can help, I’ll be in touch to book a discovery conversation where we can get into the detail.
I’ll take a proper look at what you’re trying to achieve and whether I’m the right person to help.
